lyrics

The day was over as I packed away the wardrobe
Saving our things for a summer’s day that would never come
And as the light fades my tears flow ever faster
The last words spoken were in anger not in love

You were the one that made my life worth living
You were the one to bring me back from the brink of hell
Where was it written my life should be torn asunder
In a twisted wreck on the A 21

Gin or Ginseng won’t help me now
It’s Valium that I need
To take away the pain of losing you
Gin or Ginseng won’t help me now
It’s Love that I need
To take away the pain of losing you

Six months later it’s noon and I’m in bed still
My life was back in hell on the day that I lost you
I can’t imagine it’ll ever get much better
You were the one, the one meant for me

Gin or Ginseng won’t help me now
It’s lovethat I need
To take away the pain of losing you
Gin or Ginseng won’t help me now
It’s Love that I need
To take away the pain of losing you

Ten years on I’m married with two children
I love them muchly with nearly all my heart
Yet deep within me is the love we shared together
The keystone of my life as was and is still now

Gin or Ginseng won’t help me now
It’s love that I need
To take away the pain of losing you
Gin or Ginseng won’t help me now
It’s Love that I need
To take away the pain of losing you

It organically grew to a three piece with the addition of Mick Dorey (keys), Mark Wright (Guitar), and 'Dealing With Liquids' was recorded,

Kamakura's final iteration as a band was a five piece, with the addition of Nick Ward (Drums) and and Martin Haslam (Bass). They toured England, then split.
