Synesthesia is a very weird thing! It is well worth looking into and thinking about. To see numbers as colour or to have your senses mixed up must be ...? Odd, to say the least.

Pink skirts don’t do it for me
Though I know I should be swayed
By genetic propriety
And though I’m not a synesthete, if you could turn your smiling face into a colour, that colour would be Gold, and your gold makes my world
I’ll wear the pink if you wear gold
And here is my final thought

I love you
Whatever you do makes my world
Don’t ever change who you are
I only ask please burn that damn pink skirt

‘cause pink skirts don’t do it for me
Though I know my fashion sense
Is out of whack - like Christmas pudding in the spring - The best time for love
Walking down the boulevard hand in hand I’ll buy you pink roses
